OK shoe lovers, so spring is officially here, and it's looking prettier every day, It's time to take a look at some of the newest options that will take you through the season in style. It's time to try some on.
Gucci has some of the best slides around. Pamper you feet with signature logos and prints. The classic buckle slides get a lift with a floral print, but maybe the best ones are the playful takes on logomania.
Here are some heels to take seriously. Artfully graphic mixed color from Off-White, seriously fun politically charged graffiti from Balenciaga, or some clear vinyl wrapped sandals. All chill and all signature.
Giuseppe Zanotti has a way with luxe sandals for evening. Trimmed in metal, soft silk petals of diamante leaves, they will have your feet in the spotlight. Wear them with something simple to make a statement,
Platforms will lift your spirits. And add a few inches to your height. Gold floral sandals from Dolce Gabbana are covered in delicate hand painted flowers. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. Maison Margiela updates the iconic Tabi with wooden soles and glitter, Miu Miu keeps it simple in red snakeskin. Which pair speaks to you?
Love bows on you toes? Jil Sander offers a raffish take on tied flats, while Prada adds a tiny bow to their classic satin kitten heels.
Day or night Miu Miu sparkles. Try some vinyl flats with glitter covered toes or some killer stoned heels. High or low? Or both? And you will never regret buying these Dolce leopard heels with the floral trim.
Don't say no to boots for spring. Sock boots are seasonless. Margiela does a patchwork pair mixing dots and dialogue. Balenciaga covers you in either ribbons of logos, or tiny Eiffel Towers that will have Paris at your feet.
Statement boots for Chloe and Louis Vuitton can make a look- wear them with jeans or a summery midi dress.
Not to be missed are the new crop of logoed sneakers. The Fendi pair have a cool closure on top of their logos. Love the Miu Miu slip ons that sparkle. But I have to say top of my wish list are the Virgiol Abloh/Louis Vuitton matte white men's sneakers with the chain detail.
Or go for color... Chanel is super chic in a bright blue. Amiri or LF can up your street cred. Amiri adds some California palms to their slip ons, and LF platform sneakers in a pale lavender can just make your day.
When you are done shopping, dining and partying, the best part is just coming home and putting on some cool slippers and chilling in your jammies.

Walking into the Cire Trudon boutique is like stepping back in time. Opulent and overwhelming, the small space is ambience with attitude. Started in France in 1643, the company was the candle maker for royalty and religion. The factory, located in Normandy, specialized in beeswax, hence the name cire, and produced the candles that witnessed history. The candles are handmade and housed in hand blown glass vessals. Today along with the household candles in myriad colors, and the scented candles, room sprays and perfumes sit alongside the most amazing sculptural busts of historical figures such as Louis XIV and Napoleon. They are candles, but seem too amazing to burn, but would certainly add a special secret French touch to any room. And this store is their only store in New York and America.
The Claus Porto boutique recently opened in a space that is full of architectural swagger, with a range of hand crafted products made in Porto, Portugal. The brand was founded in 1887 by two German gentlemen living in Porto. The soaps and fragrances have an old world feel. The packaging is a superb mix of handmade designs in geometric patterns created early in the 20th century that convey a distinct personality. There are huge bars of soaps, smaller boxes of curated soaps, and boxes of small delicate soaps that almost look like macaroons. Colognes, candles and diffusers round out the product line. The design of the boutique envelopes you. Feel free to try out the many products, and then use the statement sink to start over and try more. This store is about product and design- from the architecture to the packaging that really amps up the product.
The new Nest boutique is a delight for the senses. The decor is meticulous and enchanting. A boxwood sculptural ceiling looks at the walls with floral decor that is a chic update of Wedgwood. Products are tucked with a decorators touch on specially designed surfaces. The owner, Laura Slatkin, was known for specialty scented candles. She has spread her wings, and created a range of home and beauty products from lip balms, perfumes and lotions, to a wide range of candles and diffusers. Nest understands that shopping should be a wonderful experience that embraces you with beautiful visuals as well as perfect product. Treat your home and yourself to a trip to this perpetual spring like shop and explore all the possibilities.
