Designers and the super-Brands have realized that there is a new world out there. Sneakers have been spun to within an inch of their life. Nike and Adidas might spend oodles of money on scientific R&D, so you can run faster and perhaps jump higher, designers have worked hard to make sure that all eyes are on your feet.
What follows is only a very small sampling of the what a lot of money can buy today.
Do you want the unique and limited edition? Try the Valentino Rock Stud in their Soho pop-up, or the flowered special for Bergdorf's. If you don't like that, how about the Vuitton Kabuki? Put a face on it.
Maybe some Chanels ( high or low top) in a signature Chanel fabric.
Or if you want bling....try Giuseppe Zanotti. Very creative bling at that. Trendy? You bet.
Even the bros are not left out....Louboutin, Zanotti and Dolce Gabbana have your back.
But take heart....Margiela and Simone Rocha rock a more delicate vibe.
