Welcome The Webster to New York. The Miami based store owned by the chic and edgy Laure Heriad Dubreuil opened late in 2017. They did a long and painstaking gut renovation to an entire building, Visit the store to see the one of a kind design as well as to shop. Their signature Flamingo looks right at home.
European wild child Faith Connection also opened their flagship boutique. The design team is headed by Christophe Decarnin. M. Decarnin resurrected and reinvented Balmain some years ago, making it the most coveted and buzzy labels fusing fashion and rock. Come check out his work, rich hippy to the max. Customization lives here. Artists tweak boots and clothing, painting or playing with stitchery, and there is a machine that can distress fabrics any way you or your artist partner wants. See above. Tired of online shopping? Internet star Everlane also opened a brick and mortar store. Looks stark in the snow, but the inside has warm and welcoming clothes.
Did you love the look of Le Cou Cou and The Standard? Then check out Guild, The designers of the above, Roman and Williams, have opened a store selling the wares they love and use. It has everything you need for a super hip home. Currently there is a cafe called Le Mercerie serving light breakfast, tea and cocktails helmed by Marie-Aude Rose, the French wife of Daniel Rose of Spring (Paris) fame and chef at Cou Cou. Later this month the cafe will start to serve lunches. There also also plans for a new restaurant downstairs. If Rose and his wife are involved we all want to stay tuned in.... only in NYC.
